The laws of Scotland govern these conditions of use and you agree that the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute.
Booking
1. MacIitalia Limited is a Scottish registered company No: 124058 and a member of the British Incoming Tour Operators Association.
2. MacItalia Limited acts as a partner for British Midland and Flight Bureau for flights only and any booking is made direct under the terms of Flight Bureau or British Midland. A full copy of Flight Bureau and British Midland’s Terms and Conditions are available on request.
3. The prices illustrated are valid as shown.
4. A deposit may be required.
5. A completed and signed booking form must be completed and returned by email. The person who is making the booking accepts all responsibility of making payment to Macitalia for the total cost of the holiday. Once a booking has been made and confirmation of the holiday is confirmed a contract exists between us. A confirmation invoice will follow later. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy the onus is on you, the client, to ensure your invoice is correct, any discrepancies must be notified to us immediately. Payment is due on receipt of invoice.
6. MacItalia Limited, as the agent for the flights and other suppliers is not responsible in any way for any damage, loss, delay, change in timetables or any other changes made by suppliers. In case of hotel bookouts, MacItalia will ensure that the alternative accommodation is of an equal or superior nature. MacItalia accepts no liability in the case personal damages or loss of luggage.
7. Cancellation
7.1. Up to 30 days before arrival, no penalty
7.2. 10-30 days, 25% penalty
7.2. 0-10 days, 100% penalty
7.3. No refund is due for ‘no show’
8. Compensation payments do not apply to changes caused by Force Majeure.
Force Majeure: circumstances where performance and/or prompt performance of the contract is prevented by reasons of war or threat of war, riot, strife, industrial, dispute (as defined below), terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.
9. Data Protection: It may be necessary for us to ask you for certain personal information. Examples of this would be dietary requirements, disability/medical or religious information etc. This information will be kept confidential by the Company, and is available for you to inspect during the Company’s normal working hours – such a request will incur an administration fee of £10.00 GBP. It will be passed to the suppliers, if it is necessary for them to know this information in order to fulfill our contract to you.
10. You have the right to ask in writing not to receive direct marketing material about our products and services. If the following facilities are available, you can amend your previous preference on our website(s), or e-mailing mail@macitaliatravel.co.uk by using our “unsubscribe e-mail” in the subject line or in literature which you subsequently return to us. Once properly notified by you, we will take steps to stop using your information in this way.

We do gather non-personal data regarding site visitors to our website.
