Accademia

This area is along from Dorsoduro, around the Accademia Bridge on the Grand Canal is home to the Accademia galleries and the Peggy Guggenheim collection. The Accademia galleries house some of the best Venetian art, including Titian, Tintoretto, Bellini and Giambono.

Carnnaregio

Sleeps 2+1 to 6 people - Prices from £815.00 weekly

The Cannaregio neighbourhood, the most northern in Venice, extends from the Grand Canal to the Lagoon. This is a densely populated part of the city, quiet and unpolluted, separated by large canals and reached by various bridges. Throughout the area you can find ancient eateries and inns.

Dorsoduro & Giudecca

Dorsoduro is Venice’s most southern neighbourhood where, by exploring on foot, you can admire numerous important testimonies to its artistic and historical past: Ca’ Rezzonico and the Scuola Grande dei Carmini (with designs by Tiepolo).

Rialto

It is in San Polo that the ancient beginnings of Venice are found, at the Rialto where on 25 March 421 the city was founded. Rivoaltus (high bank, later conctracted to Rialto) was the first name of the whole Venice and so remained until the 11th century. Rialto is virtually in the centre of Venice.  San Marco,  may be more famous, but Rialto, with its markets and shops is the true heart of Venice.

S. Marco / Castello

San Marco is the district that for centuries has represented the city’s political, social, and cultural centre. Amongst the main monuments looking directly onto the lagoon, Piazza San Marco and the magnificent Ducal Palace, and the Ponte de Sospiri. A little to the north is the neighbourhood Castello, calm and characterised by narrow streets, palaces and beautiful churches.

S.Croce

Sleeps from 2+2 to 8 people - Prices from £815.00 weekly

The district of Santa Croce, extending from Piazzale Roma to the Railway Station and facing onto the grand canal, is not much visited by tourists. It is a quiet part of the city with many hidden squares where Venetian couples wander.

The main daytime attractions of this area are the palace Cà Pesaro, a building which faces onto the Grand Canal. This building houses the Venice Museum of Modern Art, one of the most important in Italy with many works by internationally famous painters and sculptors.

San Polo - Frari

Sleeps from 2 to 2+3 people - Prices from £790.00 weekly

San Polo is an important area of  Venice in terms of historical importance. As you walk through the narrow and meandering streets of San Polo you'll be passing by some of the oldest buildings in Venice, along these narrow passageways through the old artisan quarters of Venice.
